Bus Bars

Bus Bars are connection points at which the voltage is constant .

Types of bus bars:

There are many types of bus bars , the main types are:

1-Single bus bar:

it provides a low continuity of service. 

For example :

 if a fault occurred at a line , its resistance will be the lowst resistance so  the current flow will be through it causing outage of other lines.

2-Sectionalize single bus bar:

It provides a higher continuity of service. 

-If a fault occurred at a line , this line can be disconnected but other lines

still in service.

3-double bus bar

4- sectionalize double bus bar
